I knew it was just a matter of time (literally) but it feels like it happend so fast It’s dark outside when I get up and it’s taking longer to notice enough light outside to go out and do morning barn chores and turn out the horses. I can tell they are not happy about it either. I will admit I really enjoy getting home from work with enough light to clean, feed and bring everybody in. That’s gonna change for sure! I welcome the time falling back soon but in turn dread the result. Before I know it it’s going to be dark in the morning when I go to work and dark when I get home so why fret. It’s just such a hard transition.

Domingo came home yesterday and joined his group of ewes.  I am happy to say it’s been pretty quiet out there.  He’s really trying to impress them with his manly ways and for the most part they are only slightly interested.  They were more excited about breakfast and what I was doing than what he was saying softly in their ear

It has rained all weekend and everything is just soggy!  It’s given me a chance to locate the wet spots in the barn and there will be some rearranging in the future for some of the chicken stuff.   Not sure if it means anything but the cute black/brown catapillars are everywhere.  Not sure what that means for forcasting the season or winter to come but it makes me wonder if I had better dig out the really warm barn cloths soon.
